Effective February 1st, 2024, Tooele City will implement the newly adopted fees for garbage can service of $13/month for a first can, and $6.50/month for any additional cans. After a comprehensive external study of the garbage removal and disposal costs it has been determined this fee increase is necessary in order to keep up with increased costs of the monthly garbage service provided to residents. This rate will be reflected on the bill dated February 26, 2024.  

Customers who need to have any additional cans picked up may do so by calling 435.843.2150, by emailing a request to utilities@tooelecity.gov or in office at 90 N. Main St. The first can fee is a required service for all residential utility customers.
