State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) has numerous resources on how to rehabilitate historic buildings. Many aging structures can be fixed and put to good use. Preservation Utah is a non-profit organization that assists owners of historic properties to maintain and re-new their buildings. They offer low-interest loans as well as education on best practices.
