The
City Attorney handles a broad range of civil law work for
Tooele City. The
office prosecutes
all misdemeanor crime occurring in the City, with more than
1,402 cases in 2007. The City Attorney gives legal advice
to the Mayor, City Council, Planning Commission and administrative
department heads. This office implements policies of the City
Council and Mayor through ordinances and resolutions.
